SUPER JUNIOR and U17 TEAM STAFF
NICK CROWLEY - Head Coach Super Junior Red
A native of East Walpole, MA, Nick attended Manhattan College (D1) in Riverdale, NY. At Manhattan, Nick was a starting midfielder for three seasons and served as team captain his senior year. After graduating in May 2006 he traveled to Manchester, England where he served as a lacrosse development officer at the Brooklands Hulmeians lacrosse club. He currently resides in South Boston. Coach Crowley joined the Team Central staff in 2008.
JESSE KNOTT- Head Coach Super Junior White A native of Worcester, MA, Jesse attended Saint Anselm College (D2) where he played defense for the Hawks. With two years of collegiate coaching at Nichols College and Becker College, Jesse joined the Team Central staff in 2010 and assisted with the development of U17 players. In 2011, Coach Knott accepted the varisty coaching job at Medway High School and achieved the first playoff victory in program history. He will be coaching the Super Junior White team and looks forward to assisting those players in improving and achieving their goals in lacrosse and life. VINCENT SULLIVAN-JACQUES - Head Coach
A native of Southbridge, Ma, Vinnie graduated from St. John's High School in 1998. After receiving a B.A. in Theology from Boston College in 2002, he taught and coached varsity lacrosse at Saint Peter Marian High School for seven years. In 2010 he was named the Central Mass Chapter of US Lacrosse "Man of the Year" for his efforts with Team Central and the improvement of U17 players in the area. Currently, Vinnie is employed as a Campus Minister at Assumption College where he is an Assistant Coach of the Men's Lacrosse team and serves as the faculty/staff Athletic Team Mentor. In 2011, DII Assumption College Men's lacrosse enjoyed their first trip to the NE 10 playoffs. Coach Jacques has coached with Team Central since 2005.
MATT GREENBERG - Assistant Coach
Matt is a native of Long Island, where he played defense and LSM at York College of PA. Won 2 NCLL Eastern Division Titles, recipient of Most Improved Player '99, elected captain fall 2000. Matt coached at Algonquin High School from 2005-2007 and helped lead them to a Central Mass Title in 2005. Matt presently coaches at Shrewsbury HS and has lead the Colonials to 4 straight Central Mass title games. Coach G has been coaching the Defense with Team Central since 2007.
MATT ALLOI - Assistant Coach
A native of Syracuse, NY, Matt attended Jamesville-DeWitt High School where he was named Team MVP and made First Team All CNY. After High school Matt played at Nazareth College (D3) in Rochester, NY. He played four years with the Golden Flyers as an offensive midfielder. He helped lead his team to two NCAA tournament appearances and two ECAC Championship wins. He was elected Captain his senior year and graduated in December, 2008. Matt now helps coach the Boys lacrosse teams at Hudson High School. Coach Alloi joined the Team Central staff in 2010 and works with the Offense.
SCOTT KUKIS - Assistant Coach
Scott attended The Winchendon School where he was a four year starter. After Winchendon, he decided to complete a PG year at Bridgton Academy. Upon graduation, Scott attended Western New England College where he was a four year starter on attack and midfield and helped WNEC reach the NCAA Quarterfinals three years in a row. His senior year, Scott was awarded All TCCC First Team, All NEILA Division III First Team, USILA Division III All American team (Honorable Mention). Coach Kukis has been coaching with Team Central since 2010 and is a former TC alum.
SHAY CUNNINGHAM -Assistant Coach
A product of Central Mass and one of Team Central's original players. Shay attended the University of Vermont in Burlington. While at Vermont, Shay was a starting attackman and one of the leaders for the Catamounts in goals, assists and ground balls. Shay has played and taught lacrosse on almost every level including 7 summers working at Players Choice Lacrosse Camps, the countries largest lacrosse camp. After graduating from UVM in May 2008, Shay has been playing in several leagues around Boston in addition to coaching for local schools, such as Lincoln-Sudbury HS. Coach Cunningham currently works and lives in Boston.
RICHARD ESPINAL A 4 year standout at Holy Cross (D1) as a Defenseman and LSM, Rich is presently the assistant boys lacrosse at the Brooks School. He attended Pomfret School and PG'd at Northfield Mount Herman where he played football and lacrosse. He also works in the Admissions Office at Brooks in addition to being a Dorm Parent.
STEVE FALCONER
The head coach and founder of the Northbridge High School Lacrosse Team, Steve has been influential in the growth of lacrosse in Central Massachusetts. In 2006 he was named the Central Mass Chapter of US Lacrosse "Man of the Year." Involved with Team Central since 2004, Steve is also a football coach at Northbridge. Previously he coached in the Walpole, MA youth lacrosse program. A Political Science major, Falconer graduated in 1997 from D-III Salem State College where he played defense and long stick middie. He is also certified thru the Positive Coaching Alliance as a Double-Goal Coach.
MATT KINNE
A native of Homer, NY, Matt is a gradute of Ithaca College (D3) (Ithaca, NY) where he played defense for the Bombers. From 1998-1999 he served as a graduate assistant coach at Monroe Community College. From 2000-2001 Matt played for the Orlando Lacrosse Club (Florida). Most recently he was the assistant coach at the Key School in Annapolis, MD. Matt specializes in working with goalies and defense. CHRIS WIDELO
Chris Widelo has been a fixture in Central Massachusetts lacrosse for over 10 years. A defenseman at Division II Assumption College in the early 90's, he went on to be an assistant coach at Assumption after graduation and spent six seasons as the school's head men's lacrosse coach. Currently he is an assistant coach at Mount Ida College in Newton, MA. Chris is Double-Goal certified by the Positive Coaching Alliance and has completed Level One of the U.S. Lacrosse Coaches' Certification Program. BRIAN GERAGHTY
Brian Geraghty is the head coach for boys' lacrosse at the St. Mark's School in Southborough. Prior to graduating from the Canterbury School, Brian represented the United States in the high school division for the 1987 World Lacrosse Games in Australia. A 1992 graduate of Union College, Brian competed for the Dutchmen in both varsity hockey and lacrosse. Brian earned a Master of Education degree from St. Michael's College in Colchester, VT and, while completing his degree, helped assist in taking the Mount Mansfield Union High School lacrosse team from club to varsity status in 1996. Since moving to Massachusetts, Brian has been the head varsity lacrosse coach and assistant varsity hockey coach at Catholic Memorial high School in West Roxbury from 1999-2003 and the head hockey and lacrosse coach at the Fay School from 2003-2006. At St. Mark's, Brian also coaches boys' JV hockey, teaches physics, and is a dorm parent on campus with his wife Deb. NATE EVANS
A native of the Rochester, NY area, Nate is a 4 year standout at LeMoyne College (D2) in Syracuse, NY. He helped lead Lemoyne to won/loss record of 62-2 over 4 years. In addition, he was a member of 4 NCAA D2 National Champion games where Lemoyne won 2 of 4 National Championships. Nate is presently working in the Lacrosse World and working out with the Boston Cannons of the MLL.
PAT GAFFNEY
Patrick has been involved with the lacrosse world for over 10 years. Patrick graduated from Endicott College in 2007. Patrick attended St. John's High School where he was a four-year varsity starter for the lacrosse team. Earning various honors throughout, his high school career was topped off with being selected as an All-American and a participant in the National North-South Senior All-Star Game. At the collegiate ranks Patrick attended Endicott College where as a four-year starter, he was a Senior Captain, 4X All Conference, 2X All New England, 2007 Defensive Player of the Year for his Conference, and a USILA Division III All-American Defenseman. A brief recap of his collegiate career reveals no conference losses,four NCAA Tournament appearances and participation in both the Senior North/South and East/West All-Star Games. Pat will also be on the Boston Cannons Roster this summer.
Team Central also uses numerous D1, D2 and D3 College Players and TC Alumni to round out our coaching staff.
